On morals. Be homeothelic!

Social and enviromental issues are often linked.

And we need to tackle them in a coordinated way so as to provoke an "homeothelic response" (i.e. move forward synergistically on both fronts). So far all clear. There's plenty of options to start acting in that way.

An obvious but often forgotten fact is that social and enviromental struggles can also trigger "heterothelic responses", i.e. certain ways of addressing one issue, aggravates the other one. (Keep this in mind next time you board a flight to Burkina Faso...)

In fact, every time you don't act 100% fully in line with all your values, you will trigger an heterothelic response. This requires a judgement (balancing the benefit and damages related to our course of action...a process that is completely subjective).

If everyone sticked to actions leading to homeotelic responses only, the results of our actions would stem directly from our values with no further "ethical mediation".  Our lives would be simpler, our world a better place.

Let's stop compromising the shit out of our lives, folks, and get homeotelic as of today!
