... closer to being alive. I like the limitlessness of humanity and our striving, our tips and tricks to make sense of an overwhelming reality. Approximation (with the inherent imperfection of a choice that has to be made), glimpses, intuition, genius, I like to sweep a dossier practising synthesis (fuck analytic reasoning), to move my hands and legs freely in the open air, using this wonderful thing we call body, to practise multidimensionality, colors over grayscale, analytic over digital, manipulation over theory. Wanna be a renaissance man who can be found now reading Shakespeare, now fixing a compost toilet, now giving a speech on environmental responsibility. Wanna be one with nature, put my hands in the dirt, say go to hell to disposable cleaning products marketed up to the nausea. Wanna be able to go straight to things that make sense, to stand up and say clearly what I think, to stick to the essential and chuck the rest. To focus on the issues that make a real difference on people's lives, to be in a truly flat environment where people are appreciated for what they are at the moment and not based on their credentials. A word with no suite and ties. To practice true friendships that go deeper than a few beers and chit-chat about things I don't care about. To dream and make. Look people into the eye and touch the soul. Make things happen. To travel with a one way ticket, or better with no ticket. To sleep on the cold ground ridiculously wrapped into ten layers of fleece. To stay in silence in a forest for a week. To focus on the big issues, even if all the odds are against, to ride a donkey like Don Chischiotte and not to bend my head in front of the injustice. To stand up. To define myself outside of the mold of a job. To truly give back and learn by doing. Not to plan too much, to go with the flow, to get lost, but get lost in my values. Flow with them and let them lead me to the answers.
To stop trying pleasing everyone and not to give a fuck instead. About external judgments, about the little fears of the small people. Little things are always swept out by the big picture. Do what's right in all occasions and, if you are not sure on what's right, inform yourself and don't settle for less than the Truth (ah Truth! this unreachable Lady we must court intensely...)
